School Improvement
Summer of 2009:
Matt Strunk trained for AP Physics which he will teach this school year. New course offering.
Theresa Bell trained for AP Biology which she will teach this school year. New course offering.
Randy Wheeler, Elsie Clements, Everett Garza, Relyn Strom, Dawn Depoe, Danna Jepsen and Kim Walsh worked with Summer School.
Our custodial staff worked diligently to ensure the school is clean and ready for students on September 1st
Relyn Strom was the supervisor of Summer School. Her first assignment of her Administrative Internship this school year.
Theresa Bell continues to work on Science curriculum selection with NACL.

Liz Bowlin has moved to Pace High School District.
Richelle Wall has moved to Adams Elementary.
Debbie Lee decided to move back to Olympia, WA.
Diane Berry has joined us from Camas Elementary to teach English
Susan Hooper has joined us from Satus Elementary to teach Special Education.
Elizabeth Mohamed has joined us from Wapato Middle School teaching Science and Math.
Rick Wright has taken Debbie Lee's position in Business Education.
Wanda Wilson has moved to Social Studies to teach WA State History and Geography
Lori Howard is a new hire teaching English.
Todd Berthon has been brought in to WHS to teach in the WHS School SPED House.
Efrain Quiroz has been hired to be the Freshmen Gear-up Coordinator.

Tamera Wiley and Wanda Merz are involved with the Transitional Math Project.
Theresa Bell continues to work on Science curriculum selection with NACL.
Staff field trips during the 2009-2010 School-Year:
Randy Wheeler and Theresa Bell will take MESA students to WSU in May 2010 for the Imagine Tomorrow Competition.
MESA Seniors will have the opportunity to travel to WSU and Seattle for WSU college recruiting and WSU Football.
